Qld: Shark hunter comes up empty handed
The Gold Coast's shark catcher has come up empty-handed on the second night of thehunt for the shark that killed 84-year-old BOB PURCELL.
Mr PURCELL was attacked on Saturday during his regular early morning swim in Burleigh Lake.
Three large bull sharks were caught on Sunday, but a forensic examination has clearedthem of the attack.
A check this morning found no sharks in the net or on baited hooks deployed by theDepartment of Primary Industries.
The hunt is expected to continue until the end of the week.
