DUBLIN, N.H. -- The Old Farmer's Almanac hits newstands Tuesday for the 206th year, predicting a mild but snowy winter and a hotter-than-usual summer.
A white Christmas awaits New England and perhaps other northern regions of the country, but the holiday is more likely to be wet elsewhere, according to the nation's oldest publication, which claims 80 percent accuracy in its predictions since 1792.
